Cloth masks are desperately needed for health care workers in many places around our area. Masks are easy to make.  Make a few or a lot.  Every little bit helps.

All senior centers and nursing homes in Shelby, Miami, Darke Counties
Ohio Institute of Orthopaedic Surgery Sidney and Lima
Upper Valley Medical Center Troy
Premier Health
PATTERNS:
Simple and easy for kids and adults- Look up:  The Turban Project Face Mask or Deaconess Hospital Site
More complicated  patterns can be found online with pockets for filters or wires to insert for nose
FABRIC:
Use tightly woven cotton or flannel.

FOR THOSE WHO DON’T SEW
Many medical personnel are developing sore ears from the elastic on the masks.
Make easy button strips to help.  Cut 4 inch strip of ribbon.  Sew button on each end.  If you need buttons or ribbon call above number.
